Tested in 7.1 using Orban Loudness Meter in conjunction with Razer Surround. Microids and Forever Entertainment revealed that they will be releasing a physical. That it still mostly holds up as an excellent strategy RPG with an excellent story, interesting customization, and strategic combat, is impressive. The game appears to not have any form of AF, as forcing AF through the Nvidia Control Panel produced sharper and cleaner results to texture quality. Front Mission 1st Remake is headed to the Nintendo Switch with a physical Limited Edition to purchase this June. Front Mission 1st: Remake often feels old but that’s no huge surprise. Tested by viewing a scene from the opening mission with several AF sample rates and comparing them. Tested by playing the game at 3840x2160 resolution. Tested by playing the game at a resolution of 3840x1080. Tested by playing the game with a multi-monitor setup at a resolution of 3840x1080. The game attempts to boot before closing for a moment to allow Steam to boot up for authentication. With any luck now the first title is out we'll get the follow ups much sooner considering how this was teased for a Summer release and we only just got it now.Tested by starting FRONT MISSION 1st Remake.exe while Steam is not running. Never played the second game so that'll be nice to finally be able to check out, would be awesome if a port of Gun Hazard also came out. Really curious how the next two remakes will be as FM3 is one of my top games of all time, even just a new coat of paint and maybe a little update to the localization and I'll be thrilled. Just checked out a guide and I'm a touch over half way through and if I keep this up I'll probably finish it up within a week or so depending on how much time I level units in the arena. On the SNES version I save scummed a fair bit but kind of lost interest in the first third or so. Yeah I remember hitting that difficulty spike in the DS version and just quitting, I'm guessing I just didn't get the correct way to play because on this version I had a little push back but rather far and it's mostly a cakewalk once it all clicked.
